Kit to adapt the 4 cylinder mechanical injection 2.8 na & turbo 4jb1 and 3.1 turbo 4jg2 Isuzu diesel engines to 4 cylinder Land Rover Gearboxes (Series 2 to 300Tdi Defender)

Adapts to 4 cylinder gearboxes in series II & III, LT77 in 90, 110, 127. LT77 in defender 90, 110 & 130 200Tdi & R380 in defender 90, 110 & 130 300Tdi

Series 1 and 6 cylinder versions also available as special order only, please contact us for more information.

This kit comprises of an aluminium adaptor plate with all hardware, spigot aligner with bush and clutch spacer ring for when standard Isuzu clutch cover is used.

Full fitting instructions included.

Optional extras (please select below if required):

  • A pair of front engine mounting brackets to fit to the standard engine chassis brackets.

What’s Included:

Kit 256 includes:

  • Adaptor plate
  • Spigot bearing
  • Clutch cover spacer (used to utilise the standard Isuzu clutch cover and flywheel with a LR 4 cylinder type drive plate)
  • Hardware; adaptor plate to Isuzu cylinder block
  • Hardware & dowels; adaptor plate to V8 manual transmission
  • Hardware; mounting feet to cylinder block

Optional extras (please select above if required):

  • Engine mounting feet (bolts onto the Isuzu cylinder block then allowing the engine to sit onto standard V8 chassis bracket and rubbers)
