300Tdi Double Row Intercooler

A replacement, uprated intercooler for 300Tdi vehicles. 

This unit is constructed with larger top and bottom aluminium tanks and a significantly larger aluminium core to aid reducing the air inlet temperature to the engine.

The core is twice/‘double’ the depth of the 1 standard intercooler, its cooling performance is some 50% greater than the standard intercooler.

We recommend this intercooler for any of our 2.8 engines or any tuned 300Tdi’s, we do not recommend a full width intercooler as they cover up air flow to the radiator which can impede the ability of the radiator to keep the engine cool. A cooler engine water temperature is more important than a cooler air inlet temperature.

All standard hoses and pipework will fit without modification when using this intercooler. However, modification is required to the LH intercooler/radiator frame, to enable this to fit.  Alternatively we offer an optional ready-made LH side frame panel meaning no modifications are required, please select below whether you would like to purchase the LH side frame panel.
