Head Gasket – HS 2.8 & 2.8L 300 Tdi

Cylinder head gasket for the original HS 2.8 engine and 2.8L versions of the 300Tdi.

3x thicknesses available:

1 hole – 1.3mm. Piston protrusion: 0.5-0.6mm

2 hole – 1.4mm. Piston protrusion: 0.6-0.7mm

3 hole – 1.5mm. Piston protrusion: 0.7-0.8mm

Note: There is not a thicker gasket available for the 2.8, in cases of high piston protrusion we recommend the pistons are topped.

The HS 2.8 and 300tdi use the same head bolt locations, however, the HS2.8 uses 4x bolts with a diameter of 8mm not 10mm as per 300Tdi, therefore we have a special jig to open out these 4x holes to suit the 300Tdi cylinder block using 10mm bolts. These are the MOD variations of the gasket in the selection below.
