Kit 225, LR Td5 Engine to MT82 6 speed gearbox

Kit to adapt 6 speed MT82 Getrag gearbox (fitted to 2007-on Defender Tdci) to Land Rover Defender Td5 engine.

This kit comprises of adaptor plates to adapt the 6 speed gearbox to the Td5 cylinder block. A new starter motor, spigot bearing and flywheel are supplied in this kit. The modified flywheel will accept the standard clutch as used in the 2007-on Defender Tdci. The flywheel has a sensor ring on the back, same pattern as Td5, to give crank position and speed signal.

The 6 speed ratios are:

5.443:1	2.839:1	1.721:1	1.223:1	1:1	0.742:1

When this kit is used, the standard front exhaust pipe will not fit due to the starter motor being in a different location. An optional front exhaust pipe is available, please select below whether this is required.
