1. General description of the CleanCab system by STT Emtec.

A turbocharger is used to feed air into the engine in order to keep the air-fuel ratio at acceptable levels and optimize the combustion. The boost pressure is controlled by the main STT Emtec electronic control unit (ECU), operating a pulse width modulated valve. The ECU is also controlling the amount of exhaust gases to be re-circulated by the EGR valve.

The control system is depending on the engine load, speed and temperature. The exhaust gases are cooled by an EGR cooler to reduce the exhaust gas temperature before it is mixed with the inlet air. In addition an intercooler system is added to increase the density of the compressed inlet air.

2. General description of the Jaymic LPG system.
The original Nissan TD27 diesel engine is completely re-built with special pistons and a Jaymic-designed and modified cylinder head which is adapted to be used with LPG, including a machined combustion chamber, locations for spark plugs and valve/valve seats suitable for gaseous fuels.

3. General description of the Motor & Diesel Nissan TD27 re-power conversion for Metrocab fitted with the CleanCab     system by STT Emtec.
The Nissan TD 27 engine is adapted to the standard Metrocab Ford A4LD auto transmission using a steel adaptor plate. New engine mounting brackets and mounting rubbers are used. The vehicle is fitted with an up-rated radiator. All the standard Nissan auxiliary components are used, starter motor, alternator/vacuum pump and power steering pump. CleanCab system by STT Emtec.
